1609 Restaurant
1609 takes its name from the year that the Sea Venture shipwrecked on Bermuda’s shores and the first colony was born. We celebrate that sea-going spirit in our menu, which stars fresh local catch prepared in a fusion of island and Latin flavours. Enjoy fresh and vibrant ceviche sashimi, golden fried shrimp, a wide selection of tacos and much more.

The Duchess Café and Gelateria
If you’re looking to grab-and-go, look no further. Breakfast and lunch, made fresh each day, will be available for dining in or pre-packaged for those on the run. Example offerings include savoury breakfast sandwiches, Italian Prosciutto Baguette, Pressed Pulled Chicken Focaccia, Low Carb Grilled Salmon Salad and much more. You can also stock up on delicious snacks and soft drinks so you have everything you need for a busy day.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Automatic Billing Plan:
● You can enroll in automatic billing. When you book, an even payment will be calculated for you. You will know in advance the day of every month that your payment will be processed. Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking and your future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no charge.
Travel Insurance:
- Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is highly recommended. You should research and choose a travel insurance policy carefully. Suggested travel insurance companies are listed below:

Travel Notes:
- A passport is needed to travel to Bermuda. It must be valid for six months beyond your travel dates and have at least two blank pages.
- Refunds will not be provided for expired passports.
- Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents, itineraries and travel instructions will be sent via email 30 days or earlier prior to travel.
- Please be mindful that we suggest and recommend all attendees should arrive into Bermuda on December 29, 2022, before 4 pm.
- Once your flight is purchased you should enter your flight information to ensure proper transportation. Click to enter flight information Flight information has to be received by Explore Blue 45 days prior to the departure of your trip to secure your round trip airport transfers. Failure to submit your flight information to Explore Blue Travel by this date will result in you forfeiting your airport transfers.
TERMS & POLICIES
- Making reservations for this package acknowledges your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
- All payments to Explore Blue Travel are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This is because Explore Blue Travel has contractual agreements with hotels and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
- Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your government-issued identification (passport).
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Please make your reservations today at this low price to be locked in.
- Monthly payments are required to keep your reservations current. Your invoice will clearly note your payment plan. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.
- You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments.
- Name changes are allowed with a $50 name change fee. After final payment date, name change fees will increase to $150 per change.
- Late payments will incur a fee of $250 per person after the final due date listed on your payment plan and will be automatically added to your reservations.
